Time-Bound Music

Sound travels, of course, beyond conceptual as well as physical boundaries; more suggestively, it is as absent as it is present, time-bound, and thus always evaporating from the moment of its articulation. And music is never only expressive of something else beyond itself; it always moves in other directions, on other scales, creating its own context of hearing.
